When our dryer ceased to dry damp clothes we decided to opt for repair rather than replacement. We are glad we did. Although we had to wait a week for Spencer to come by it was worth it. Spencer came in with a small tray of tools and parts. He efficiently pulled dryer away from way, dissembled front and back panels, and replaced a fuse. Then he went to his vehicle, and brought in device to clean our dryer vent. We were amazed at the amount of lint he removed. He put everything back together and voila it worked once again. Did I say the dryer is 26 yrs old?

I Have a Bosch Wall oven. I had a previous experience with Dynamic Appliance repair who did not know how to work on a Bosch appliance and claimed that the oven needed to be replaced. I called Affordable Appliance Repair Services based on recommendations on NextDoor. I mentioned that I needed a tech who was trained and knowledgeable of Bosch wall ovens. David called me ahead of time to discuss the problems I was having. Based on that, he diagnosed the problem and came prepared with the replacement for the suspected part. Not only was his diagnosis correct, but he completed the repair within 30 minutes. I am extremely happy with David's service.

CONCERN: Customer reports washer is only washing on hot CAUSE: Found washer hoses hooked up backwards CORRECTION: installed hoses properly and tested, operation now normal. No leaks upon completion. CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is noisy CAUSE: Found dryer internal Mabel against drum got popped wrong way CORRECTION: uninstalled front panel and gained access inside to correct panel issue and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher door malfunctioning. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected door for visible damage, door is good condition at the time of inspection. Inspected door hinges for damage, no visible damage at the time of inspection. Inspected door springs and links, found dishwasher door hinge links failed. CORRECTION: Replaced link kit and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports Refrigerator/freezer is not cooling properly. CAUSE: Found refrigeration system low on freon. CORRECTION: Recharged system and tested. Operation now normal. Note: NO GUARANTEE ON RECHARGING SYSTEM. Since a refrigerator that is low on freon has a known leak we cannot guarantee performance of the unit after freon has been refilled. When a welded unit is low on freon it has leaked out, however we cannot determine the rate at which a leak is. Customer has acknowledged that this is a temporary fix only and is not to be considered a long lasting repair.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not cooling. CAUSE: Found compressor not running and very hot. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor starter and tested. Compressor still not running. Customer declined further repairs.
CONCERN: Dryer takes too long to dry clothes, dryer does get hot though. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested dryer for proper heater element operation. Heater operation is normal. Inspected heater thermostat operation for short cycling condition, thermostat is short cycling. Inspected dryer air flow at the duct flume, air flow is normal at this time, no signs of flow restriction. Cause, Wall vent clogged with lint. CORRECTION: Performed dryer vent cleaning, tested for restrictions, operation now normal. Installed new aluminum dryer vent hose.

Inspected voltage to the damper door assembly, found refrigerator damper assembly failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator damper assembly and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected refrigerator for proper voltage supply, voltage is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage from terminal block to control, voltage is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage from control to DC inverter, found voltage supply to the inverter normal however no voltage coming out of the inverter to the compressor. Found compressor inverter control board failed. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor inverter control board and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports Refrigerator is not cooling properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Test compressor operation to see if the compressor was running. Compressor was not running. Tested for voltage from adaptive defrost control board to compressor. No voltage from the main control board to the compressor. Cause of failure found ADC main control board shorted at the output line voltage to the compressor. CORRECTION: Replaced ADC main control board and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher upper rack broken. CAUSE: Found dishwasher adjuster kit failed. CORRECTION: Replaced and tested. Operation now normal. LABO ONLY, CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PART. No warranty
CONCERN: Refrigerator is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage, voltage at wall outlet was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected input voltage to compressor, input voltage at compressor was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected refrigerator thermostat cold control operation, found refrigerator cold control failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator cold control and tested. Operation now normal.
